Carpet Stores Failing in GMB Ratings & Reviews

I decided to do a quick snapshot on how carpet stores are doing in obtaining customer ratings and reviews on their Google My Business pages. I chose to use four metro areas for my research.

In an Excel spreadsheet I made a column for the city, store name, Number of total reviews, Overall Star Rating and then performed four separate searches (listed below). I added each store listing to the spreadsheet with their rating/review totals. Then summarized and did some math calculations for the results.

carpet stores in GMBI added each store and then I tallied up the results in the Excel spreadsheet. Below is a summary of the results. It is pretty sad to say the least.

Carpet Store ratings and reviews

This clearly shows that carpet stores do not understand the importance of acquiring positive customer reviews. About 98% of the carpet stores are clearly missing opportunities to convert online flooring shoppers into new leads.
